Its a new decade, I'm 6 years older (!!!) than when I signed on to DA for the first time, and it's about damn time I got back into the mix.

Current status since last post in Feb 2005:
1. Went to law school, became a lawyer
2. Got married
3. Been working at a big law firm for the past 3 years

If there are any deviant watchers still alive out there, please give me a shout. I need your inspiration to start drawing again. It is going to be my escape from corporate hell.

...I am still here, still browsing DA.

For the last 6 months I've been super busy. I was working for the government full-time and going to law school part time. I didn't even have time to breathe at times.

But I've quit my job and decided to go to school full time now, so hopefully I will have more time to draw. Expect new stuff in the upcoming weeks - I've got it in my sketchbook I just need to upload it

Watup kids, been a long time.

Although I've been browsing and commenting regularly on DA, I haven't posted any new art or written a journal for over a month. So what have I been doing?

Well, I've filled up a couple of sketchbooks in the last few months and have really been focusing on improving my skills. Unfortunately, I havent really made any new completed works, all sketches or studies. I'll get around to uploading something complete sooner or later. It should be worth the wait.

In other news, I will be attending an amazing concept art workshop in Austin this month! From what I've read, this will be one of the largest gathering of its kind. Its a 4 day workshop from June 18 - 21 and will have classes taught by some of the biggest names in the concept art industry. Professionals who have worked on films like Jurassic Park, the new Star Wars films, the Matrix films and the LOTR films as well as video games like Quake 3, Unreal, Blood Rayne, and Metroid Prime will be attending and spreading their knowledge.

It will be a lot of fun, I cant wait to hang out with other artists and hopefully learn as much as I can from some very talented people.

I was surfing DA randomly last night (yea I still exist) and out of the random blue I clicked on a picture of a pretty hot chick (to look for reference pictures - I swear!!!) and ended up on the user page of "BreatheOnMe" ([link] ). For those that dont know, she is probably a legend now...

I logged onto her page when it was around the 2000 mark, and was chatting up a storm using her userpage like a shoutbox with about a hundred other people... we watched her page hits climb astronomically to 6000 within the next few hours!!!

Around the 6000 mark, admins starting swooping down on people and banning them if they posted a message on her userpage... I got lucky and stopped posting before they got to me, though... it was hilarious...

So by dumb luck I witnessed the craziest event I've heard of on DA history .. (if you want proof I was there, check out my activity page [link] )...

it took me more than a year to get above 1000 and it took her less than 6 hours to get to over 6000!!!
